Measurement While Drilling

Our three day measurement while drilling course is a basic platform course that can also be customized as per our client’s needs. The course content is tailored specifically to meet the needs of entry level Field MWD engineers and support personnel. Participants will be able to understand the drilling routine and drilling equipment. They will understand the theory of MWD. They will be able to evaluate and resolve surface and down-hole operational problems. The participants will be able to evaluate and implement MWD preventive maintenance. They will be able to analyze, validate, interpret and present survey, gamma and surface parameter measurements. They will understand the principle of hydraulics; and its relationship to drill-string components bore pressure and annular pressure; and their influence on drilling. Lastly, participants will be able to understand and implement MWD setup and operational procedures. A laptop is recommended for this course. Course materials and exercises are included.

Drilling Software

Our drilling software application expertise cover a wide range and types of drilling software that is available to date. We deliver training in software applications from, Torque and Drag, Hydraulics, Vibration e.tc; and we are not limited to just this applications. This training can be delivered at our clients office location or if required, at our location. The training covers both application theory; and hands-on practical demonstration and interpretation. Participants will be able to understand fundamental application theory and use the software to solve problems. Our drilling software training can be from one to three days per software application type and class size. A laptop is recommended for this class. Course materials and exercises are included.
