This two-day course is designed to give all personnel involved in drilling operations a practical method of using Torque and Drag software for pre-well planning, post-well analysis and monitoring torque and drag while drilling. The training workshop will provide participants with a solid understanding of how to use torque and drag programs to predict torque/drag forces experienced during drilling operations. The set-up of the software program and the ability to analyze and interpret Torque/Drag outputs is vital in using the program in field operations for pre-well planning, well monitoring and post-well studies. Accurate use of Torque and Drag software is critical in the successful drilling and completion of complex, directional and horizontal wells. Personnel involved in drilling operations in the Oil and Gas Industry, other industry personnel and anyone who wants to acquire this technical skill can attend. Group registration price is avaliable.
This two-day course is designed to give all personnel involved in drilling operations a practical approach to know how annular pressures (ECD) measurements; other bottom-hole/formation pressures and drilling data are applied for annular pressure (ECD) analysis. The training will provide participants with a firm understanding of annular pressure (ECD) analysis and interpretation for well monitoring and control; and well planning; and operational procedures to control ECD. The accurate application of annular pressures (ECD) measurements while drilling is essential for successful drilling operations. Personnel involved in drilling operations in the Oil and Gas Industry, other industry personnel and anyone who wants to acquire this technical skill can attend. Group registration price is avaliable.
This two-hour (live) virtual course introduces participants on how to analyze annular pressure measurements i.e., equivalent circulating density (ECD) data alongside other downhole and surface drilling data. This overview course will focus on the application of pressure while drilling in the field and shows participants the techniques to accurately interpret downhole pressure logs. This introductory course is a step towards equipping oil and gas professionals with an understanding of downhole pressure analysis; and will enable them to build on correct interpretation techniques. It is important to understand how to analyze downhole pressure data i.e., ECD data, with other associated drilling data to identify and mitigate potential well problems in drilling operations that can increase well cost.
